CNC machining must adhere to a standardized process from design and programming to final product inspection, with precision and safety controlled at each step. The specific operational procedures are as follows:

1. Design Modeling and Process Planning: First, create 3D models of the parts using CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks, specifying dimensional tolerances and material properties. Then, plan the machining sequence, such as “mill the plane → drill positioning holes → rough mill the contour → finish mill the contour,” while determining cutting parameters like spindle speed and feed rate, as well as suitable fixtures and clamping methods.
2. Writing and Exporting G-Code: For simple parts, G-code can be manually written. For complex parts, CAM software such as UG/CAM or Mastercam is used. After importing the model, tool and process parameters are set, tool paths are generated and simulated for verification, and finally, the G-code is exported.

3. Machine Tool and Workpiece Tool Preparation: Turn on the main power supply and control system of the machine tool, perform the zero return operation to establish the machine coordinate system; clean the workpiece and fixtures, securely clamp the workpiece on the worktable, then install the matching tool, ensuring the tool is firmly held without looseness.
4. Establishing the Workpiece Coordinate System with Tool Setting: Use a finder to determine the X/Y center of the workpiece, and set the Z-axis zero point with a Z-axis setter to complete manual tool setting. High-end machine tools can perform one-click measurement using a tool setter, allowing the system to accurately determine the relative position between the tool and the workpiece, avoiding coordinate errors.
5. Trial cutting verification program: Run the program empty first to check if the tool path will collide; Reinstall the workpiece and use a single section trial cutting mode to process a small amount of allowance. Measure the size and adjust the parameters such as tool compensation. After confirming that there are no problems, prepare for formal processing.

6. Formal processing and monitoring: Start the automatic operation mode, pay attention to the cutting sound and chip shape during processing. If there are any abnormal noises or loose workpieces, immediately press the emergency stop button for handling.
7. Finished product testing and post-processing: Use calipers, coordinate measuring instruments, etc. to test the size and accuracy of the parts. After passing the inspection, remove burrs and clean the cutting fluid. If there are defects, analyze the problem and rework.
